Privacy policy

Your document is read once and not stored. The finished One-Pager is stored only if you turn on account saving. We keep your email so you can sign in, and counts of what you made so we can bill you. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for advertising.

Your email address, to sign you in and to send you the emails below. What you made: for each page, when it was made, how long the source was, and what it cost us, and three one-word labels for what kind of file it came from, what kind of one-pager it was and which industry it covers, without the content. Billing: your plan, your balance and a customer reference from Stripe, a separate payment company, which handles your card; we never see or store your full card number. Site visits: which pages are viewed. Our own count does not ask who you are and sets no cookie. An analytics service counts visits too, but only if you agreed on the cookie question. You need to give us your email to have an account; without it we cannot sign you in. Billing details are needed only for a paid plan.

To run your account and make your pages (our contract with you), to bill you and keep records the law requires (legal obligation), to keep the service working, safe and improving (our legitimate interests), to send news and offers about MakeOnepagers, which you can unsubscribe from at any time (our legitimate interests), and to measure visits with analytics cookies (your consent, which you can change at any time from the cookie question).

The document, link or text you give us. It goes to an AI model provider to write your page and is not written to our servers or our logs. That provider keeps it only for a limited time under its terms and does not use it to train models. If you turn on cloud saving, the finished One-Pager is kept in the cloud, under your sign-in, until you delete it; the original document still is not.

Sign-in links, a welcome, a note when your pages are running low, a reminder before a trial charges, and receipts. These are about your account and cannot be unsubscribed from without closing it. We also send news, tips and offers about MakeOnepagers, as the terms of service explain, and each of those carries an unsubscribe link.

We share personal information only with service providers that do work for us: a hosting provider, a database provider for your account, your balance and any saved pages, an AI model provider, Stripe for payments, an email delivery service, and an analytics service (only if you agreed to it). Each receives only what its job needs and handles it under its agreement with us. Apart from the hosting provider, which carries it while your page is made, your document goes only to the AI model provider. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business.

We operate from the United States, and the service providers we use may process data in the United States and other countries. Where the law requires it, transfers rely on the safeguards in their agreements, such as standard contractual clauses. Email us for a copy.

Your account details and what you made, for as long as you have an account, and billing records afterwards for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Saved One-Pagers, until you delete them or your account. Analytics data, for a limited period, after which it is deleted.

A few, and only if they apply to you. One keeps you signed in. One remembers your answer to the cookie question. And if you press Accept on that question, the analytics service we use sets its cookies so we can tell a returning visitor from a new one. Press Reject and they are not set: we still count the visit, we just cannot tell it is you again. We do not use advertising cookies.

Ask us at for a copy of what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete your account and everything in it, except billing records the law requires us to keep. We answer within the time the law where you live allows, and we may need to confirm it is you first. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, the UK or California), you may also have the right to object to or restrict some uses, to take your data elsewhere, and to complain to your data protection authority. We will not treat you differently for using them. Someone you authorize can also ask for you; we will ask for proof that they act for you. We get this information from you, from your use of the site and from Stripe. We do not sell anyone’s personal information or share it for advertising, including anyone under 16.

The service is for people 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger.

We may update this policy. The date at the top is the last change. If a change materially affects how we use your information, we will tell you before it applies.
